Despite her performance pedigree, Kato has been designed with real-world cruising in mind. In-boom furling, electric Anderson and Harken winches, Hydrive hydraulic steering and Raymarine electronics make sail handling and navigation remarkably manageable for a short-handed crew.

Oceanvolt electric drives provide efficient 7-8 knot cruising, while the 11kVA Yanmar generator, new in 2025, supports the onboard systems. Sailing above approximately 10 knots also activates regeneration, helping replenish energy underway.

The spacious cockpit provides the perfect post-race environment, with U-shaped seating, twin carbon tables, a day lounge and storage for paddleboards or kiteboards. Below deck, each hull features a queen cabin with ensuite, while the bridgedeck galley delivers practical luxury.
