Wild Thing 2 is a highly specified 2021 Outremer 45 Owner's Version, set up for efficient offshore cruising and extended time aboard.

Built by Outremer to its well-established lightweight performance philosophy, she features the upgraded optimised foam-core construction, a lightship displacement of approximately 8.5 tonnes and the practical three-cabin Owner's layout with a dedicated hull for the owners.

First-owner from new and used as a family liveaboard, Wild Thing 2 has been equipped with a strong focus on self-sufficiency and passagemaking. Her onboard systems include substantial solar generation, a Remoran hydrogenerator, Mastervolt lithium battery bank, 100L/h Dessalator watermaker, Starlink, Iridium GO!, NKE autopilot and Furuno radar.

Her sail inventory is equally comprehensive, with Incidences Hydranet mainsail and self-tacking jib, furling Code 0, furling gennaker and an Oxley Levante. The gennaker was replaced in 2025, with the white sails checked by a sailmaker in 2026.

Twin Volvo D1-30 diesels provide dependable auxiliary power, with servicing completed in May 2026 along with new stainless-steel exhaust elbows and starter batteries. A carbon extended bimini with full enclosure, Highfield tender, davits and extensive cruising equipment complete the package.
