The Outremer 45 is an icon of fast cruising catamarans. It is one of the few Danson designed performance Outremer catamarans available that offers comfortable cruising at exhilarating and extremely efficient speeds without needing a high performance budget.
Part of her heritage is in the sleek and sexy signature styling that exudes speed and grace even at anchor. She is a sailors catamaran forgoing the weight of unnecessary lavish luxuries for the performance of a nimble and seafaring catamaran in all conditions with all the comforts for extended, self contained cruising.

Capella's Danson design is the performance version of this much admired cat. She has the performance keels that allow her to be beached while offering far better performance, without the need for large moving centreboards and appreciably more speed and pointing than the usual stub keels.
She has a range of other customisations that set her apart from even other Outremers making her stronger, with smoother seakeeping abilities.
Large customised opening windows, three in the hull give lots of extra light and fantastic ventilation.
The seagull striker and front beam has been reinforced to give far greater lateral strength.
