We have owned her about 10 years. Initially in charter in Tonga and then as our private vessel the past 6 years.
We have invested over 1000 hours of love into her.
So many improvements and extras added.

- Headsail and main rigging all transferred to starboard helm position, so no need to leave the helm while tacking and gybing! This is a big improvement on the original design.
- Driveshaft universal joints which also isolate the motors for the water using R&D Flexible Shaft Couplings. The 43 has shaft drives rather than saildrives which are so much better for maintenance and reliability.
- Marinare 12000btu air-conditioning (runs off the batteries and inverter!). Heats and cools.
- LED floor lighting
- Rocna 25kg anchor and 50m new chain.
- Aquapro 3.5m tender with mariner 9.5hp
- Spinnaker and sock (not fitted but supplied)

An interesting extra feature is that she has a 4JH engine on starboard. We acquired this upgrade while in Tonga and opted to keep this smoother running 4 cylinder. The original 3JH is on the port side.
Both motors are 4E variants so all parts are interchangeable (eg. Alternators, sensors, starter motors, etc).
Lots of spares including alternator, starter, belts, mounts & a big box of fuel filters which can be fitted to either.

If you ever watched "Gone with the Wynns" then you will be familiar with the L43
She's a really lovely example.
