Alan Wright (with extensive input from
Angelo Lavranos), the Quantum cats have
a distinctive sheer line - a sweeping
profile that dives down toward the bow,
faithfully mirrored by stainless steel rails
resting on forward-raked stanchions.
An overall impression? Lanquid, but
powerful and poised. A feral kind of look.
Spaciousness - and the clever use of
space - is a common feature with
catamarans. Designers take advantage of
the width and are able to create larger deck
and lounge areas. That equates to more
"lifestyle and guest-friendly" floor plans.
Space is certainly the impression when
stepping into the Quantum 4000's cockpit
from the boarding platform. It's covered
(thanks to the overhead flybridge
extension) offering plenty of space for
fishing, diving and swimming activities.
The area is "riddled" with hatches and
lockers. They're set into the transom, the
sides of the cockpit and into the forward
bulkhead, offering good storage for
mooring lines, fishing and dive gear
The interior provides A good layout with
3 cabins with one been a double. A good size head and shower,
galley forward and very complete, good sizes saloon
sliding door to cockpit engines are under cockpit with good sizes engine hatches
access to the engine is also the aft starboard cabin and the head to poprt
the engines Yanmar 6L42ASTP 440hp through ZFVdrives.
