Salthouse 68

The last Salthouse ever built, Ekara is a 72-foot masterpiece and the highest-spec'd vessel to ever come out of the renowned Kiwi yard. Designed for both coastal adventures and serious offshore passages, she blends proven capability with luxury, making her one of the most versatile and desirable Salthouse yachts afloat today.

Purpose-built for long-range cruising, Ekara is fitted with oversized fuel and water tanks, twin generators, a water maker, and a fuel polishing system--giving her the range and confidence to cruise the Pacific Islands and beyond. At an efficient 11-knot offshore cruise, she offers reliability and endurance in bluewater passages.

Step inside and discover an interior that was completely customised to the highest standard. Every element--from the joinery to the ceiling, wall panelling, and recessed mood lighting--was carefully designed to create a seamless flow throughout. The result is discreet luxury, tailored for both family cruising and serious game fishing. Ekara is one of only two 68s with forward-facing saloon windows, and her clever layout retains the traditional aft galley opening out to a huge alfresco dining space. The saloon includes a fully retractable dining table, which disappears from view when not required.

Ekara has the ultimate game fishing platform, with a game chair, tuna tubes, and slurry ice maker ready for the bluewater hunt. Yet with the same ease, it becomes a relaxed space for entertaining, dining, or simply enjoying life at anchor.

At the helm, a carbon fibre dash houses an impressive suite of quad 15ยดยด Raymarine displays, putting everything needed for offshore navigation at your fingertips. Accommodation is generous, with space for at least twelve onboard--making Ekara as much about shared adventures as individual experiences.

With only two owners since launch, Ekara represents the pinnacle of the Salthouse legacy: a one-of-a-kind, proven New Zealand yacht that promises adventure, luxury, and unforgettable memories wherever she goes.
