The Phoenix is a 1991 Ron Given Game Catamaran that delivers serious capability in a practical, proven package. Designed and built by Ron Given, this 12.3m planning hull has earned a strong reputation for stability, efficiency and offshore confidence.
With a generous 4.4 m beam and shallow 0.9 m draft, she offers genuine versatility. From coastal cruising to extended offshore runs, The Phoenix provides the space, ride comfort and fuel economy that make power cats such capable long-range platforms.
Repowered in 2008, she is fitted with twin Yanmar 41HA-STZP 240hp diesel engines on Bravo 2 stern legs, currently showing approximately 1,350 hours. The engines were last serviced in 2024 and have seen very low use over the past two years.
Cruise comfortably between 16 to 20 knots, with a top speed of around 23 knots. At displacement speed, she is remarkably efficient, burning approximately 10L per side at 8 knots (1600rpm), delivering an estimated 500 nautical mile range.
The hull and deck are GOP construction with fixed spade rudders, twin helm stations for excellent visibility and control, and twin foil for improved performance and ride adjustment. She was painted 2023 and antifouled in 2024, reflecting ongoing maintenance.
