Water maker/desalineator

OpenOcean Quencher 12volt DC low current water maker. This unit comes complete with all parts, filters, membranes and manual and ready to fit. The membrane has been pickled as per the manufacturers instructions. The unit is 5 years old but has only been used to produce approximately 2,000 litres of water. Comes complete with a new spare reverse osmosis membrane worth $800. The current draw is 20 amps and produces 35 litres per hour. I bought this unit new just prior to COVID so hence it has had little use. It never really fitted properly in my yacht requiring me to fill 20 litre Jerry cans with water and transport to the fresh water filler. Early this year I replaced it with a more compact (but much more expensive) unit. New cost for the Open Ocean unit with spare membrane and everything as supplied is over $11,000
